Magic the Gathering, what is the exact diffrence between the card holy day and the card safe passage?

Holy Day for one mana prevents ALL COMBAT DAMAGE. On the other hand, Safe Passage for 3 mana, prevents ALL DAMAGE OF ANY KIND.
