What's a really good kitty food for my 6 year old manx girl?

I usually feed her store brand food with meat by products, salt, etc. I want to change her food, but im not sure what she'll eat or like. I bought two cans of natural balance from petco grainfree as a test, and she seems to like it, but she isnt head over heels for duck flavor. Any suggestions? I dont want to pay over 20 bucks for a 5 pound bag of dry food [thats the budget], and I know Wellness recently had a recall. I also notice our cat sniffing the chicken in our grocery bag. That got me thinking: Is raw the way to go? Do you cook the meat? br

We tried her on Nutro once, but I understand it isnt good. What do your kitties like?
