I CAN'T GET TO SLEEP?

I haven't been able to get to sleep past like 1 these past few nights, but once I fall asleep I'm out like a light. I have a camp next week and I want to get enough sleep. I have a really sick cat, who needs and IV and pills (he has FIP) who sleeps with me. I worry about his future a lot, cuz his illness is fatal and he will need to be put to sleep. I try to distract myself but just CAN'T SLEEP! Please help me find a way to get to sleep at night so my kitty isn't alone on my pillow.
