Magic: Does Lignify trump "When this creature goes to the graveyard"?

Lignify removes all abilities including the "shuffle back into library" ability so when it hits the graveyard, State Based Effects check Last Known Information about the creature before it hit the graveyard and finds that there was no ability on the creature. Since there is no ability on the creature at the time, the Colossus does not get shuffled back into the library.
