Will my kitten get jealous of a new kitten if new kitty sleeps in our bedroom?

We have had a 16 week old kitten for the past 4 weeks and decided to introduce another kitty to him so he has a companion and they can bond early in their lives. I know that hissing, growling, swatting, etc is to be expected, and we are keeping them separated for the first week or so so they can get used to each other's scent. However, we don't let our 16 week old sleep with us because he is very active at night, and he is used to this now, but we want to let the new kitty sleep with us for a week or so to get used to us (which is what we did with our current kitten). Will our current kitty get jealous of this? Should we just let them both sleep separately? Thanks.
