How to take care of a kitten?

There was a stray baby cat outside my house right now, i felt so sad for it, it was crying and it's so cute. But i dont knw how to take care of cats, i have two small dogs and one of them keeps barking at the kitty. But anyway how do i take care of it. My parents said cant keep it so we are gonna post it somewhere as lost and found or free. But it keeps crying and wont stop. & I need sleep, i dont want to put it outside because i feel bad. But ugh... help?
